Reiki is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Energy and is a vibrational healing practice that promotes balance throughout the mind, body, and spirit. During your session, you remain fully clothed while I gently place my hands on different areas of your head and body. Reiki is understood to flow through the practitioner to the recipient, supporting your body's own natural ability to heal and restore balance. Every experience is personal. You may notice sensations such as warmth, tingling, heaviness, or deep relaxation, or you may simply enjoy a peaceful hour of rest. Whatever your experience, my intention is to create a calm space where you can reconnect with the wisdom of your body and simply be present.
When one part of us feels out of balance, it often affects every other part of our lives. Stress can influence how we think, how we feel, and even how our bodies respond. Reiki takes a whole-person approach by encouraging harmony between your body, heart, and mind rather than focusing on a single concern. Reiki is also a wonderful complementary practice that can be received alongside other medical or wellness treatments, supporting your overall health without replacing the care you already receive.
Whether this is your first Reiki session or you have experienced Reiki before, my goal is to help you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. A full treatment lasts approximately one hour, although shorter and longer appointments are also available to suit your needs. If travelling isn't convenient, my portable treatment table also allows me to bring Reiki to your home for an additional fee.
